In a narrow, highly constrained space enclosed between the villa’s main facade and the property’s perimeter wall, this 20-metre by 3.5-metre overflow lap pool completely redefines the estate’s architectural perspective. A perfectly rectilinear design was chosen to visually stretch the property’s lines, drawing the eye forward.
To amplify this linear effect, we engineered a bespoke double-overflow system at both ends of the basin. This hydraulic precision transforms the water surface into a perfect, undisturbed mirror that captures the sharp Saharan light and visually expands the outdoor living area, bringing a sense of endless space to a restricted footprint.

Our rigorous methodology relied on creating ultra-detailed execution blueprints, which served as an infallible guide for local construction crews in this isolated environment. To guarantee that every structural milestone met elite European standards, our senior engineering team provided three months of continuous, hands-on site supervision.
The local soil conditions required heavily reinforced foundations, while the arid desert climate demanded specialized structural waterproofing. We selected a dark grey reinforced fiberglass finish that reacts subtly with the intense sunlight, complemented by premium, high-resistance exotic timber decking engineered to withstand extreme thermal expansion.
Architectural Integration & Sensory Engineering
The imposing perimeter wall, clad in textured local natural stone, beautifully frames the swimming lane. To elevate the sensory experience, we seamlessly integrated a custom sheer-descent waterfall directly into the stonework. This acoustic feature serves a dual purpose: it effectively dampens outside city noise while naturally cooling the microclimate of the garden through evaporation.
As twilight falls, discreetly integrated warm LED lighting emphasizes the rugged relief of the stone wall, casting deep, sophisticated reflections across the silent mirror of the lap pool.
