In Marbella’s golden light, a Swedish couple who had lived in Bali dreamt of recreating the serene beauty of Indonesian lagoons. They entrusted us with designing a bespoke infinity pool, seamlessly blending tropical inspiration with Mediterranean elegance.

Their garden, already adorned with a traditional Balinese-style pavilion, called for a pool that would feel organic, timeless, and perfectly integrated with its surroundings.

Drawing inspiration from natural lagoons, we designed a free-form pool with soft, flowing contours that echo the gentle curves of a sandy beach. A discreet slot overflow, hidden within the perimeter, allows the water to glide seamlessly into the balancing tank, enhancing the illusion of a boundless oasis.

A wooden bridge leads across crystal-clear waters to a lush, vegetated island, while cascading waterfalls create a serene soundtrack, completing the experience.

Built under our supervision by a local contractor, the pool’s structure and bespoke beige coating evoke the softness of tropical shores. The water treatment system, designed without chlorine, ensures purity through automated active oxygen technology — a natural choice in harmony with the setting.

Years later, when the property — located in one of Marbella’s most sought-after residential areas — was placed on the market, the estate agent immediately highlighted the exclusive pool design as its crown jewel. Proof that true integration of landscape and water not only enhances beauty but also adds enduring value to prestigious properties.
